Dear Members of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce,
As we step into the month of March, I am filled with optimism and excitement for the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead for our community and our businesses.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t first give a heartfelt thank you to our Gala Chair Tania Aviles and her team for putting on a wonderful evening last month. It was fun and inspiring. Congratulations to all of our winners, you make us proud.
March marks the beginning of spring, a season of renewal and growth. It's a time when nature blossoms, and similarly, it presents us with a chance to rejuvenate our businesses and explore new avenues for success.
This month, I encourage each of you to embrace innovation and creativity in your endeavors. Let's challenge ourselves to think outside the box and discover fresh strategies to thrive in our respective industries. Whether it's implementing new technologies, revamping marketing strategies, or exploring partnerships, let's seize the moment to elevate our businesses to new heights.
The Chamber is here to help you to reach those heights and this month I’d like to highlight the many opportunities we offer for you to network. I'm pleased to share that the chamber has its own business networking group called The Brentwood Power Network (BPN). They meet bi-weekly on Wednesday’s with one week being on Zoom and then the other week in person at The Chamber office. The chamber also has two networking groups as members that you can check out - Delta Networking Partners and Polka Dot Powerhouse. A third group who we will be adding to our membership this month is Empresarios Latinos Unidos. Be sure to stay up to date on these fantastic networking opportunities by visiting our website.
Our next big opportunity is the 5th Annual East Bay Business Expo which will be held Tuesday April 30 at the Brentwood Community Center. We are currently looking for event sponsors and participants. Visit our website to learn more.
As business leaders, we have a responsibility to contribute positively to the welfare of our community. Several non-profit organizations, including the Chamber have teamed up with the City of Brentwood for The Brentwood Community Day of Service to be held April 27, 2024. We will be hosting a food drive, collecting food for HOPE house in Brentwood. More details will be coming out soon and to learn more about this great event you can visit the City of Brentwood website: https://www.brentwoodca.gov/government/city-manager/community-day-of-service. Let’s continue to demonstrate our commitment to making Brentwood a better place for all.
Together, let's make March a month of growth, collaboration, and success. I look forward to seeing all that we will achieve together.
In Service,
Karri
