Village Community Resource Center is in Brentwood, CA and it is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the healthcare they need, regardless of their economic or immigration status. Their mission is to create a space where health services are not just available but accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for all. Through partnership with trusted providers, they host a mobile health clinic and offer mental health counseling, making it easier for individuals and families to receive the care they deserve. Whether you’re seeking primary care, mental health support, or assistance with navigating healthcare systems, the Village Community Resource Center is here to help—because your well-being matters to them.

Guest speaker Karina Martinez. 
 
Karina is the Wellness Manager at Village Community Resource Center. After finishing high school Karina decided to move at age of 20 to the city of Morelia Michoacan to start college at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo where she earned her bachelor's degree and majored in Psychology in 2018. She volunteered while in college at the CRIT Teleton Michoacan, an organization that helps children with disabilities, cancer and autism and their families, teaching her a valuable lesson of the families needs and different life perspectives within the community. In the year of 2018, she decided to move back to Oakley to be near family. Karina has dedicated her life's work to helping families with their wellness journeys.
