Request - 2024/2025 BCOC Grand Opening Red Ribbon Cutting Host Registration

It is an amazing opportunity to open a business in Brentwood, and to be able to mark the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be an incredible experience. The joy and the pride that come with such an event will be unforgettable. The celebration will be a wonderful way to show the community the hard work that has gone into making your business a reality.
No matter the size of the event, the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce is here to help you realize your vision for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Whether you want to throw a grand celebration or a more intimate gathering, we are here to support you in your endeavor.
Requirements for being a Brentwood Chamber Host
•Must be a current BCOC member. •Space to accommodate a minimum of 40 people. •ADA approved. •Parking friendly (35+ guest parking stalls) •Host provides beverages (ex: Soda, Water, Wine, Beer - alcohol not required) •Host provides light bites (ex: cookies, nuts, finger foods) •Host should promote your event on social media and be prepared with collateral materials. •Host provides social media handles/logos (.png) to admin@brentwoodchamber.com •Host should Invite clients, customers, friends, and family members. •Confirmation for the event sent upon return of this completed form from the Event Host
Chamber Personnel Availability
•We require a minimum of one month’s notice to schedule a Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening. •We cannot schedule your Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening on a date and time that will conflict with another Chamber event. (i.e. 3rd Thursday Chamber Mixer) •To encourage greater participation at your event, we are working to schedule only one Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening per week and we recommend hosting your event on a Thursday. •We will not schedule a Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening on the weekend. •These events will typically start at 5:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm. •Our Office Administrator is responsible for scheduling all Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings.
There is no charge for the chamber's involvement. – it’s a value-added benefit of being a member.
⭐A generic E-flyer is provided ⭐Market and promote the event in The BCOC E-Newsletter. ⭐Chamber Board members, Ambassadors, and members at large will attend the event. ⭐Our Ambassador team will officiate the event. ⭐We will also provide giant scissors and the ribbon. ⭐We will include a photo and acknowledgment of your ribbon cutting in an issue of the BCOC E-Newsletter.

What month are requesting to host your Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening? *
The BCOC will attempt to accommodate this request, but it is not a guarantee. Ribbon dates are approved on a first come, first serve basis. •Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings will be on Thursdays (except on Mixer dates) •We will not schedule a Ribbon Cutting or Grand Opening on the weekend.
