The Brentwood Community Chorus invites you to experience the power of song at our Spring Concert, The Music We Share, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Bristow Middle School. This season, we bring together timeless choral works and contemporary gems, celebrating music’s profound ability to connect and uplift.
Under the direction of conductor Eli Souza and accompanist Jennifer Krey, we are proud to present a dynamic program featuring the soaring harmonies of Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff, the lyrical beauty of Gerald Finzi, and the rhythmic energy of Sydney Guillaume. Our concert also highlights works by contemporary choral innovators such as Elaine Hagenberg, Michael Eddleman, and Jake Runestad, whose compositions bring a fresh and expressive voice to choral music today.
"This concert is a true celebration of choral artistry, weaving together music from different traditions, eras, and styles," says Eli Souza, conductor of the Brentwood Community Chorus. "Each piece has been chosen to showcase the emotional depth and communal spirit that make choral singing so powerful."
Join us as we come together in song, sharing melodies that inspire, uplift, and unite.
