As a Home Care Aide with our agency, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients who require assistance with daily living activities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, promoting independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personalized Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each client.

  2. Companionship: Foster meaningful relationships with clients through engaging conversation, companionship, and recreational activities, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being.

  3. Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, and light tidying to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for clients.

  4. Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take their prescribed medications according to their medication schedule, ensuring compliance and adherence to their treatment plans.

  5. Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings, promoting community engagement and independence.

  6. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and our agency staff to report any changes in client condition, needs, or preferences promptly.

  7. Documentation: Accurately document the care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents or concerns, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and agency policies.

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Ability to adapt to varying client needs and preferences.
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual with excellent time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Pay starts at $20 hour, per-diem roles.
